Four UT Olympians were honored during Homecoming festivities on campus.
Coach J.J. Clark (U.S. track and field), Jevon Tarantino (U.S. diving), Deedee Trotter (U.S. track and field), and Jangy Addy (Liberia track and field) were all part of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China, and all are part of the University of Tennessee family.
Trotter and Addy were recognized as part of the Accomplished Alumni program as they are recent graduates of the university. Tarantino, Trotter, and Addy all served as grand marshals for the Homecoming parade on Friday, Nov. 7. Trotter and Addy signed autographs and posed for pictures with alumni and friends at the Party in the Park on Saturday, Nov 8. All four Olympians were recognized on the football field during the Homecoming game vs. Wyoming.
