James A. Haslam II (1952) is chairman of the board of Pilot Travel Centers LLC and chairman of the board and president of Pilot Corp., both headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee. In 2006, he and his wife, Natalie (1952), made a $32.5 million gift to the university.
Haslam received the University of Tennessee Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2009.
