Mugwump

In November 1920, a new student publication made its debut on campus. Mugwump was a monthly publication devoted to life at the University of Tennessee. It included writings about student life issues and sports, as well as literary critiques and student poetry and art work.

There were ninety-five issues of Mugwump, with the last being published in May 1932. Mugwump and other student publications like The Volunteer Yearbook and Phoenix literary magazine are viewable in the University of Tennessee Libraries’ digital collections.
