William L. Jenkins (1961) is a former member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Tennessee’s first district. He was speaker of the Tennessee House of Representatives in 1969, is a former Tennessee commissioner of conservation, and served on the board of directors of the Tennessee Valley Authority.
