Color Our Big Orange World

Get out your crayons and markers and feel your stress melt away with our UT-themed coloring pages.

If you think coloring is just for kids, think again. The act of coloring has been proven to lower stress in adults and boost creativity. “Engaging in art allows us to develop valuable dispositions that can transfer into other areas of our lives,” says Clinical Assistant Professor of Art Education Joy Bertling. She cites the conclusions of a recent study: “Through informed encounters with art and experiences of art making, we strengthen our ability to observe, envision, experiment and explore, express, engage and persist, and reflect.”

So print out these pages, color the checkerboard on Ayres Hall, and make your own design on the Rock—it’s a blank canvas waiting just for you.
