Larry and I are dog lovers; this film more closely unites us with Smokey and the UT crowd. We were students there in ’62 and loved the UT campus and surroundings. It’s good to know that Smokey has two good caretakers.

I so enjoyed this film of the handlers. Some years ago we were coming to Florida for one of the bowl games and saw this object on the interstate behind a car. Once we got close we saw Smokey’s dog house!! We were so excited and couldn’t wait to get to the game to see Smokey!!!! He is such a part of UT and so loved.

UT alum from ’86. Laura and I lost our best friend 2 years ago, a Bluetick Coonhound we also named Smokey. Dressed her in orange all the time to watch games on tv. The film was very insightful and enjoyable. Brought back great memories and a tear to my eye. Go Vols!
