A street in the new Sorority Village at the UT will be named in honor of Ann Baker Furrow, a 1967 alumna and pioneering female golfer who also was the first woman to serve on the UT Board of Trustees.

Hundreds turned out for Today‘s live broadcast from the Hill on October 1. The fourth-hour fun showcased a myriad of student groups and segments such as a quiz show, ambush makeovers, “Sara Goes Back to College,” how to tailgate, and a live performance by country music artist Kip Moore.
Outstanding student authors will read from their works on September 21 in the John C. Hodges Library as part of the annual Writers in the Library Series and the UT Parents Association’s Family Weekend. Continue reading
