Senior Payton Marie Miller painted the Rock with Pat Summitt’s likeness for the Celebration of Life event at Thompson-Boling Arena on July 14. The Rock remained untouched for nearly a month.
Two days after the death of Pat Summitt, UT’s Center for Health Education and Wellness painted the Rock with a thank you, tweeting “One of the best ways we knew how to honor Coach Summitt.”
