Comedienne Leanne Morgan live at Homecoming

Leanne Morgan, a nationally known stand-up comedienne, is the most recent honoree of the Accomplished Alumni program.

Morgan has appeared in comedy clubs and theaters all over the United States, as well as at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival, on ABC’s The View, as a finalist on Nick at Nite’s The Search for the Funniest Mom in America, and on tour with Southern Fried Chicks. She is currently collaborating with writer/producer Matt Williams (RoseanneHome Improvement) and Fremantle on a half-hour sitcom.

The Accomplished Alumni program [ link to ] is designed to attract alumni of note to campus to share their success stories. Alumni who are honored through this program spend time on campus teaching students, sharing dialogue with faculty, and engaging with other alumni and friends of the university. A variety of outstanding alumni have been featured in this program including CEOs of major corporations, Olympians, authors, artists, musicians, US ambassadors, and civic leaders.
