Henrietta Marian Houston Harper, of Knoxville, died December 5, 2011. She earned the Educational Specialist Degree from the University of Tennessee and a master’s degree from Tennessee State University in Nashville. Mrs. Harper was a retired educator, having taught in both the Alcoa and Knoxville City School Systems.
