Grady Whitman Agee, of Memphis, died August 26, 2011. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree (1950) from the College of Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree (1980) from the College of Law. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received in the battle for Guam. He started his law practice in 1950 and later was a founding partner with Rickey Shankman, Agee, & Harpster Law Firm.
