Frank G. Kolinsky, of Knoxville, died May 9, 2011. He came to the University of Tennessee on a football scholarship and was a member of the 1956 SEC Championship team. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences. Following graduation from UT, he coached high school football in Lebanon, Tennessee for 2 years. He also served as a 2nd Lt. in the U. S. Army National Guard. Frank returned to Knoxville and worked in industrial sales for 17 years. For the past 30 years, he served as Executive Director of the E.M. Jellinek Center, where he was dedicated to helping individuals suffering from alcoholism and drug addition rebuild their lives.
