Notable Alumni: Ashley Capps

Mr. Capps formed A. C. Entertainment, Inc. in 1991 to produce and promote concerts throughout the southeastern United States. Since 1996, A. C. Entertainment has managed Knoxville’s Historic Tennessee Theatre – the official state theater of Tennessee. He produced the Hot Summer Nights Concert Series for 10 years, which took place each summer in Knoxville’s World’s Fair Park. In 2000, he created Knoxville’s popular free concert series, Sundown in the City, on Knoxville’s Market Square. In 2002, A. C. Entertainment created the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tennessee. With praise ranging from USA Today to CNN to The New York Times and beyond, Bonnaroo was voted “Festival of the Year” by Pollstar in February 2003.
