Frieson and Wilson named Accomplished Alumni

Ron Frieson (’81) is the senior vice president for external affairs for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and a retired senior executive of BellSouth Corporation. He visited campus on July 1 to participate in the Accomplished Alumni program. Frieson delivered the keynote speech for the conclusion of the 2009 UT LEAD Summer Institute program. About 130 students, friends, and family members were in attendance.

Alan WilsonAlan Wilson

Alan Wilson (’80) is the chairman, president, and CEO of McCormick and Company Inc. He visited Knoxville on July 15 to participate in the Accomplished Alumni program. Wilson delivered the keynote speech for the opening dinner of the 2009 Alumni Summer College: “Food for Thought.” About 160 alumni, friends, and UT staff members were in attendance at the dinner, which was held at the Marriott in downtown Knoxville.
