Green Thumbs

More than 100 alumni and friends came to campus on Saturday, March 28, to participate in “Gardening 101,” the second of a two-part Lifelong Learning series. Dr. Sue Hamilton, director of the University of Tennessee Gardens and host of the “Garden Girls” radio show, and James Newburn, horticulture director of the UT Gardens, presented information on gardening.

You can view presentations from these and other Lifelong Learning sessions in our Flickr stream.

  1. Gardening 101was a very well presented, organized, and timely presentation. Gardners, at any level, in my opinion, were benefited by the knowledge of Dr. Hamilton.
I look forward to further presentations.
Thank you everyone involved in making this possible.
