Memphis money management

The UT Young Alumni program and Young Alumni Council are proud to bring programming to the Memphis area in March. On March 26, a “Financial Management 101” session will be presented by UT Alum Jeff Hall. Hall is with Rather Kittrell Capital Management in Knoxville and is also a former Vol great, having spent many Saturday’s on the field in Neyland Stadium. His firm specializes in wealth management.

All young alumni are likely facing financial decisions, whether buying a new house, driving off the lot in a new car, or taking that trip of a lifetime. Our hope is that this session will offer a little guidance to make your life as a young professional that much smoother. In addition, you can enjoy drinks and food with a little Big Orange flavor.

This event will take place at the Butcher Shop in Memphis and will provide social, networking, and professional development opportunities for all Young Alumni in the area. Any UT alumni and their friends are invited to attend. Register at memphisutya.eventbrite.com.

  1. Great question! For UT, “Young Alumni” is actually defined as anyone who has graduated within the last decade. Basically, anyone from 1999-2009 would be classified as a Young Alum. Please let us know if you need additional information by e-mailing youngalumni@utk.edu.
